A company name or logo alone does not explain what a certificate covers. Start with the named legal entity, the document number and the activity or standard shown. Read any accompanying schedule or scope alongside the certificate.
Distinguish a client's management-system certificate from the accreditation of a certification or inspection body. These documents serve different purposes. A credential held by one Swiss Approval network entity should not be assumed to apply automatically to another office or every service.
Use the relevant issuing or accreditation body's verification source to check status and validity. If names, locations or activities differ from your project requirements, ask for clarification. The project proposal should identify the responsible body and the scope relevant to the requested work.
